SIX POINT CONTRACT WITH THE CITIZENS OF LOGANVILLE 2011

I, the undersigned Candidate for the City of Loganville City Council, commit to support each of the following agenda items, pledge to bring each of the agenda items to a vote during my first year in office, and to advocate on behalf of individual liberty, limited government and economic freedom.

INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY

Our moral, political and economic liberties are inherent, not grated by our government.

LIMITED GOVERNMENT

The purpose of our City government is to exercise only those limited powers that have been given to it by the people, the highest priority being public safety, and protection of our liberties. Restoration and preservation of these basic principles begins at the local level of our government.

ECONOMIC FREEDOM

The most powerful instrument of material and social progress is the free market. Any infringement on this system undermines our fundamental rights as free people.

1.	Protect the United States Constitution, Constitution of the State of Georgia, and the Charter of the City of Loganville.
2.	To conduct an audit of all City programs and departments identifying duplication, waste, ineffectiveness, and make recommendations to restore limited government to our city.
3.	Reduce City spending 10% in 2012 and 10% in 2013.
4.	Impose a statutory cap limiting annual increase to City spending to the sum of the annual inflation rate plus the percentage of population growth.
5.	Eliminate costly regulations, fees and taxes on business that inhibit our commercial growth and increase our unemployment.
6.	Vote against any increase in taxes, including Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) and property taxes, until the rate of unemployment in Georgia is less than 5%.
